New City School's annual auction is our school's LARGEST fundraiser that solely supports our Variable Tuition program. We hope you'll join us for a great night for an even better cause!

Since 1969, New City School has been committed to providing an excellent progressive education. New City School's founders imagined a school that was reflective of the greater St. Louis metropolitan area, and a school that served a diverse population of students. In order to strengthen and sustain our commitment to middle class families and socio-economic diversity, we have implemented a tuition assistance program known as Variable Tuition.

Variable Tuition is a need-based tuition assistance program similar to those used by many private schools, colleges, and universities. This program allows families to apply for reduced tuition that is right for their families' financial situation. This helps make a New City School education affordable to many qualified students who could not otherwise join our school community. As a result, our students will continue to represent a broad range of socio-economic backgrounds, enhancing the learning experience for every New City student and strengthening and sustaining our commitment to middle class families and socio-economic diversity. 

This year we have awarded $1.7M of financial support to our families. We are proud that 43% of our families at New City School received some form of Variable Tuition.

T-shirts are available for purchase $20 before and after school at the tables near the entrance starting April 24th. 

NEED CHILDCARE?

Drop off your child off with friendly and energetic staff members of nearby Central Studio from 5:30-9:30pm for $27. The night includes a dance class, movement games, a craft, and a pizza party! Perfect for Kindergarten to 6th Grade, with split-level age-appropriate activities.
